About Us
Welcome to the official website of A New Beginning! We are Debbie and Barry Shirk, a husband-wife performing duo that is available for church programs and other gospel performances. Though we are based in Merrimack, NH has performed across the United States. We fell in love with music at our church when we sang with our music team, for special music, and for other special occasions. Since then, we have traveled to various states across the country to sing at funerals, local Gideon meetings, and churches that have invited us to share our program.
We have been through times of heartache and disappointment. Therefore, our mission is to be a beacon of hope to those who may be depressed, sick, or discouraged. We hope that our songs and words will lift your spirits and may, in some cases, be entertaining too. Our message is, that no matter where you are in your life, God has a better plan for your life than you could ever have for yourself.
