A New Beginning - Special Music, Special Occasions, Our Church

This is a project near and dear to our hearts as it represents the special music we have been singing at our own church as worship team leaders. Below is a write up from our Pastor, Denis Frediani who provides a nice tribute to our ministry. Also included are some Christmas songs as well as two songs sung with our dear friend, Alan Frink (How Great Thou Art, and I Cast My Bread Upon the Water)

Barry and Debbie Shirk have been at our church for several years. Over these years, I have seen that they have a tender heart and a deep love for the Lord and for others. Their experience with health issues in their extended family has given them a deep understanding and compassion that can be heard in their music.
They have been a tremendous blessing and asset to our church ministry. Not only have they been a key part of our worship team, they have added to the overall quality of our worship because of their giftedness in both the technical elements of sound and in their passionate desire to see the Lord exalted and glorified. In addition to the singing at our church, they have blessed others by singing numerous locations throughout the country. They have been a blessing in other ways as well, for Example, they helped us set up the music for the recent 150th Anniversary of our church. Even though they helped us bring in another group to sing, the church wanted them to sing at that event as well. They often sing at our special services like Christmas and Easter and they are always well received. In addition, they have been asked by a number of families in the church to sing at the funerals of family members and loved ones.
I am always blessed when they sing because of their deep love for the Lord is evident and uplifting. Their harmonies, giftedness and song selection are such and inspiration. Many of the songs on this album have been sung by Barry and Debbie at the church or at other events that I have attended so I can highly recommend this new album to you

We began our ministry singing gospel music with our friend, Alan Frink. We are fortunate to know him as he has introduced us to some wonderful people from many churches in Maine and New Hampshire.
